fter first 2 interesting races of the season the expectations were high for everybody who hadnt scored yet and also for those who were potential title chasers. After the qualification it was clear that Geneve’s 2nd Dani Popa was going for a low risk race to spare his car from the damage of Spa. It seemed that Daniel Herrn was the one whose qualification was messed up while double champion Nikolay „Niki“ Ivanov and „the newcomer“ Peter Hadiak could start their race in top of the grid. Hadiak who had only raced twice before in G1 got his 1st pole in his 3rd race. 2nd place in the grid was taken by Diego Lagares and 4th place went to Hadiaks teammate Peter Bubak.

The start was unfortunate for one of two italians in G1, Cesare Cameroni had crashed. In top 10 there was only one change at start, Carlos Sanz overtook Andreu Fanlo. After 10 laps there hadnt been not a single position change in top8 but there were some changes in top20 where the most eager overtaker was Tornike Apriashvili who had moved up to 15th spot after starting form 20th place. Title pretender Daniel Herrn had few nice laps in the beginning when he passed Hoomer and Fanlo but after those overtakings it was obvious that mr.Herrn is being blocked by the managers in front. And then the pitting started, on the 11th lap Slovaks Hadiak and Bubak were 1st to pit from the top and on the next lap others followed those 2. Thanks to the 1st pitstop Niki passed Lagares whose pit had taken 1.5 secs longer than his. Besides that it seemed that Daniel got rid of the ones infront of him and soon found himself from the 8th spot after portuguese ace Antonia Vieira, belgian Jurgen Duprez and spanish Manu Glez had pitted.
